Hittaut in Katrineholm 2026: 160 checkpoints, maps and pickup points
Hittaut is the Swedish Orienteering Federation’s wellness activity where you find checkpoints using a paper map or the app. In Katrineholm the season is run by Katrineholm OK (Katrineholm Orienteering Club).
According to Katrineholm Municipality’s event page, Hittaut Katrineholm runs 2 April–30 September 2026 with 160 checkpoints to find. The activity is free and available around the clock during the season.
Pickup points
You can pick up paper maps at: the library, Duveholmshallen, ICA Maxi, Friskis & Svettis, Sörmlands sparbank, Hotell Statt, the tourist information office and the contact centre. The list comes from the municipal event page.
Maps and app
Digital maps are on orientering.se (link below) and in the Hittaut app for Android and iOS. You can also register checkpoints there. Maps are also available as PDF for printing per Katrineholm OK.
Extra releases 2026
In 2026 Katrineholm OK plans extra checkpoint releases: 1 August at Djulö (also listed in Katrineholm Week) and 6 September in Vrå per orientering.se. Always check current info with the organiser before you go.
