Running races in Katrineholm 2026 – dates and distances

Katrineholm Night Trail – 14 November 2026

Katrineholm Night Trail takes place on 14 November at Spökbacken outside Forssjö. The 5 km starts at 17:00 and the 10 km at 17:15. Children aged 7–12 have a separate race of approximately 1–2 km; the final distance will be set before race day. Bring a headlamp.

The route follows woodland trails and gravel roads, partly on Sörmlandsleden, finishing with the climb up Kolbergasvängen. Organisers are +Katrineholm, Spökbacken Alpina Skidklubb, Team Nordic Trail and Broby GoIF’s skiing section. Runners aged 13–18 receive SEK 100 off the entry fee. Registration is linked below.

Julitaloppet 2026 – running at Julita gård

Julitaloppet 2026 took place on 3 October. Julita GoIF organises the event with Nordiska museet and Julita gård. The 5 km course makes one lap from Stora huset, through the park and along Munkleden by Lake Öljaren. Långa Julita Loppet follows the same course twice, covering 10 km. This year’s 5 km started at 11:00 and the 10 km at 10:00, each costing SEK 400. Lilla Julita Loppet was free for children up to 12, offering 500 metres or 1.7 km. Ultra runners could enter Skabbräven: up to twelve 6.7 km laps, with a new start every hour.

Kurortsloppet 2026 – trail running in Bie

Kurortsloppet in Bie took place on 23 August 2026. Bie GoIF offered 5 km at 11:30 and 10 km at 12:00. Children’s distances were 0.7, 0.9, 1.3 and 2.2 km. Standard entry fees were SEK 200 for adult classes and SEK 100 for children. Bib collection, changing rooms and showers were at Kurortsvallen. The courses follow woodland trails and gravel over Bieåsen.

Sparbanksjoggen Katrineholm – the town race

Sparbanksjoggen Katrineholm, formerly KK-joggen, took place on 4 August 2026. Adult races started on Trädgårdsgatan: 5.1 km at 18:45 and a measured 10 km at 19:15. Children ran 1.1 or 2.2 km from Köpmangatan. All races finished in Stadsparken. Standard fees were SEK 300, SEK 350 and SEK 175 for youth races respectively.
