Katrineholm Pride — Friday programme
Second Pride day 7 August: includes the municipality’s Pride surprise at 11:00 and a Pride party with karaoke in the evening. See the current schedule at katrineholmpride.se.
Friday 7 August is the second day of Katrineholm Pride 2026, organised by RFSL Katrineholm. The day opens with the municipality’s annual Pride surprise and closes with an evening party — a programme for anyone who wants to see the city’s public Pride installations during the day and join the community later in the evening.
At 11:00 the public gathers at Stortorget above the Pride stairs when Katrineholm Municipality unveils this year’s Pride surprise. The event runs for roughly one hour according to the municipal calendar and is free of charge. Previous years have brought a rainbow piano, colourful umbrellas, the Pride stairs, rainbow benches and, last year, a Pride portal in Sveaparken — the 2026 installation is revealed on site.
In the evening there is a Pride Neon Party with karaoke. Katrineholm Week lists a 22:00 start at Terassen with free admission. Katrineholm Pride is still updating its schedule and may add further details — see katrineholmpride.se before you go out. Feel free to dress in neon or rainbow colours if you want to match the mood.
