Opening of Djulö wetland
On Saturday 5 September 2026 Katrineholm Municipality inaugurates the wetland at Djulö allé and Laxmans väg, 11:00–16:00. Admission is free and no registration is required. The municipality describes the day as activities for different ages with nature in focus, and writes that the programme may still be added to during the summer.
The site is the new wetland, not Stora Djulö Herrgård and not the campsite. We have a separate news article about the project. The municipality recommends cycling or walking. Accessibility information on the event page mentions wheelchair, walker and pram.
The same Saturday Musikens hus has the premiere of Utanför ditt fönster at 16:00. The inauguration ends at 16:00, so the two clash at the end of the afternoon. Follow the municipal event page or the Facebook event if on-site routes change close to the date.
