Katrineholm Pride parade & Pride Park
Meet in Stadsparken at 13:00; the parade leaves at 13:30 for Sveaparken. Pride Park celebration roughly 14:00–16:00 with stage, exhibitors and activities. Organised by RFSL Katrineholm.
The Katrineholm Pride parade and Pride Park are the centrepiece of Thursday when RFSL Katrineholm hosts Pride on 6–7 August 2026. The parade and celebration in Sveaparken are free and open to everyone who wants to show support for LGBTQ+ rights and diversity — whether you march, watch along the route or head straight to the park.
Meet at Stadsparken at 13:00. At 13:30 the parade sets off through central Katrineholm towards Sveaparken, roughly one and a half kilometres according to Katrineholm Pride. Pride Park in Sveaparken runs approximately 14:00–16:00 with a stage, a food truck and activities for visitors, in line with Katrineholm Municipality’s event information.
The organiser’s Pride Park programme lists the Pride kiosk with snacks and merchandise, face painting, massage, RFSU Sörmland and an inflatable obstacle course, plus exhibitors such as the Centre Party. Artists and hosts on stage are announced on an ongoing basis at katrineholmpride.se — check there close to the event date if you want the latest line-up.
Katrineholm Municipality states that the event is accessible with a pram as well as a wheelchair or rollator. The police have published rules for marchers: banners may be up to three metres wide, walk at most four abreast (two with a pram or dog), keep to the right-hand side of the road in the direction of travel and take banners home afterwards. Bring water, sun protection and comfortable shoes if you will be standing outside for a while.
