Reopening of Kulturhuset Ängeln
After the rebuild, Kulturhuset Ängeln reopens on Saturday 22 August, 10:00–15:00. The municipality fills the house with a day programme. See the event page for times.
On Saturday 22 August 2026 Kulturhuset Ängeln reopens after rebuilding. The municipality lists 10:00–15:00 at Djulögatan 27. Admission to the reopening itself is free. The house has been closed in stages during the works, and this day is the public reopening for visitors.
The same day the calendar lists several programme items: balloon art in the house 10:00–15:00, the Prrrrr-a! concert in the gallery 11:30–12:30, Bea Szenfeld’s talk in Hörsalen 12:00–13:00 and a Szenfeld workshop 13:30–15:30. The talk has limited seats and the workshop costs SEK 100. Times and prices for those items sit separately in the calendar.
The address is Djulögatan 27 in Katrineholm, close to the centre. The municipality asks visitors to follow the event page for last programme changes. If you only want to see the rebuilt house, the reopening day is enough. If you want a seat in Hörsalen or the workshop, book that item on its own.
